Engineering - Welding

This course is for 14 hours of instruction over two days.  Participants need to bring pencils and paper and must have sturdy footwear and clothing that covers both arms and legs. You are encouraged to go to the scrapyard and find interesting bits of steel scrap ie: sprockets, gears, chains, railway steel etc

Course Objectives:

  1. Discuss different methods of welding.
  2. Practically explore the different welding methods.
  3. Design a simple project.
  4. Execute the project using one of the welding methods.
