Artisan Cheese-making

Have you always wanted to make your own cheese at home but have not been sure where to start?  Then why not join us for a day and a half of “all things cheese”.  A hands-on workshop.  Participants need to bring along:

  • a small container
  • a large jar
  • fresh herbs or dried fruit
  • lunch for the first day

Course Objectives:

  • Learn the basics of the art of cheese-making including raw milk, pasteurisation, starters, cultures, additives/ingredients, maturation, packing through to final product storage.
  • Learn how to make traditional French camembert, marscapone, feta (low salt) and a farmhouse cheese.
