International Student Fees

Tuition Fees

The level of fees for international students who are not New Zealand residents is as follows:
Tuition $10700.00 NZ Dollars
This includes all ESOL classes but does not include uniform or activity fees.

Accommodation Fees

Normally students stay at the Hostel from Monday- Friday each week and at a Homestay Family on the weekends and during holidays.
 For 45 weeks of accommodation the fees are
Hostel & Homestay together NZ$ 9600.00 (45 weeks)
Homestay only (Option for after 1 year) NZ$ 8300.00 (45 weeks) 

We strongly recommend that students stay in the Hostel and Homestay during their first year at Gore High School as it is a very supportive environment and is helpful to their orientation and studies.

Additional Costs

Extra personal money must be bought to cover the following
a) Health Insurance NZ$ 400
b) Uniform NZ$ 600 the first year
c) NCEA exams NZ$ 400
d) TOFEL or IELTS English exams NZ$ 200
Students must have health insurance. It is better that we purchase it for them in NZ.
Thus for the first year at Gore High School the fees are
Tuition Fee  $10700.00
Accommodation Fee  $ 9600.00
Total Fees  $ 20300 .00 NZ Dollars

Personal Money will also be required – we suggest $ 2000.00 per year. Please ensure that students bring enough money to cover the additional costs mentioned above in a) to d).

How to pay the Fees

Parents are reminded that the fees for the year are payable prior to the commencement of each year. Fees may be lodged direct to our account with WestpacTrust , Mersey Street, Gore, New Zealand – Account Number 030915 0066542 00, or submitted by Bankdraft to Gore High School, Private Bag, Gore, New Zealand.
